Trying to change things

Actually, there is only one thing that I wanted to change. Me. Again. For some reason, whenever I really have to leave a certain place (like Claret before, and now, Ateneo) I want to change myself. So much that I can really go into extremes just to make it happen. This time, I really want my fitness back. I want to be physically fit like never before. I was fir when I was a kid, when I was in my last years of Grade School, fit when I graduated High School, It’s just right that I should be fit before college graduation. But now, I want this to last forever. I mean, this will be the last time that I will try to be fit, because I WILL STAY FIT no matter what.

So, here I am writing this piece of useless information to everyone just to remind myself about my goal. It’s 2011, and yes, I worry about health :))

The City of Lights!

I was fortunate enough to go back to this awesome city! Paris. Paris. The city that many people around the world seems to dream of going at least once in their lifetime. I am one of the few who seems to be lucky enough to be there not once, not twice, not thrice but FRIES! (Echos) 4 times!!! <3

It is called a romantic city as well, and I can’t blame people. Paris is, indeed, very very beautiful and romantic. <3

SemBreak 2011

One-page reflection paper to go and I am done for my last 1st semester of being an undergrad. I can’t believe how fast time is. I can still remember blogging about my first day of being a college student. Now, I am facing my (hopefully) last 6 months of my college life and then I am out in the real world. But first, I have at least a few weeks to bum around and regain my strength :)

I am writing right now out of boredom. And I really think that this entry might end up telling you all some stories about my life recently :)) Which always happen whenever I write out of boredom.

Today is a Monday night. The third day of my long weekend. For three days straight, I didn’t do anything related to college life. In fact, I was able to watch an entire anime series (Death Note) within two days. I longed for this weekend to have a longer sleeping hours, but for some reason (I believe Insomnia) my sleep only lasts for about 6 hours and I wake up already. So much for the rest that I am longing for.

I worry that after I graduate, I might bum for a while. The burnout that I am feeling for quite some time now wasn’t satiated for even a second. So I might spend 3 months or 6 like this: . Lying or watching dramas online. I wonder what will happen to me.

I am easily stressed out over little things. I am even stressed out with the idea of having classes this Wednesday! Argh!

Ang Babae sa Septic Tank

I just came back from watching the indie film, Ang Babae sa Septic Tank, starring JM De Guzman, Kian Cipriano, Cai Cortez and Eugene Domingo. The film is all about the struggle of two filmmakers who wanted to do an indie film that will make it to international festivals and gain recognition.

Honestly, I went to see the film expecting a mainstream film with Eugene Domingo being the main protagonist (e.g. Tanging Ina Mo-type of movie or Kimmy Dora) since the title of the movie is “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank” but well, I forgot that this is an indie film (not to mention, a Chris Martinez movie) so it is my fault for expecting a more mainstream type of comedy film.

But nonetheless, I still LOVE the film for its own brilliance. The  film managed to show how a certain story can be retold in different formats and genres to an audience who doesn’t know the world of movie-making. What more is that the movie didn’t have to explain it, they just showed it. With Eugene Domingo, being an actress of theater, television and mainstream movies, she managed to show these differences with her brilliant acting. She really deserves all the recognition she got from the film.

To Chris Martinez, he didn’t disappoint his fans. Being a fan of his previous movie, 100, I am not surprised how the movie turned. I almost literally fainted due to laughter in a scene :)) I am just surprised how “abrupt” the movie ended. BUt overall, a must-watch film :P

Blog Diary

I think I have a blurred definition of a BLOG and a DIARY. I started writing a blog since I was 16 years old. But looking back, I only write things which are supposed to be private =)) but for some reason, I feel comfortable sharing everything if I wrote them in a blog.

Today is July 23, 2011 6:38pm. It’s been over a year since that JTA Sem-ender Party that happened in Golda’s abode. And exactly 6 months since we arrived home from Germany :) I always underestimate the time frame of one year. I always think that it is very short, but many things can happen in one year. A LOT of things. And this is the reason why I think I am blogging again.

My passion for writing stopped when PLURK, FB STATUS and now, Twitter arrived. But looking back at my Multiply Site, I now appreciate again how BEAUTIFUL a detailed blog entry about a day’s experiences and happenings in my life. I used to write in detail, and I am very entertained by it whenever I re-read some of them after a year or two. It gives you an idea of how you think and look on things at that particular moment.

SO yeah, this blog entry is about the appreciation of my creating a blog diary. A Weblog turned DIARY which is open for public’s consumption. Not really designed for them (but for me) but they are FREE to check it out :))

Oh well, I have things to do pa! So, goodbye for now :)
